1 Peter 5:6-7 “Anxieties of Exile”
Casting
The solution to our anxieties is humility.
Pride holds our cares in, adding sadness or paralysis to them.
We face what's beyond us, so the solution is beyond us.
On Him
Our anxieties must be cast in the right place.
We must remember that God's mighty hand is able.
We cast our anxieties on God through prayer.
(Philippians 4:6-7)
He Cares
We want to know that who we are trusting with our cares, cares about us.
The cross is a picture of God's care for us. (Romans 8:32)
Caring is God's continual heart towards His children.
Think about it:
What has you worried?
What are you doing with it?
What do you believe about God, in His power and care?
